Since installing WT6 version 6.0.0.941, I find that when it is running, I am unable to open either the ´Run´, ´Search´ or the ´Help and Support´ programmes. I am using win XP Pro.
Does anybody else have the same problem and is there a workaround for it?

When using WT5.5 (or WT6) on XP Home, "Run - Search & Help/Support" will not function from the Start Menu. They will function though if the Title Bar Clock is not activated. This is a shame as I find the TBC feature very useful. If anyone finds  a solution to this problem, please post it. Thank you.

You can also use keyboard shortcuts:

run : ´windows key´ + r
find:  ´windows key´ + f

Hello Raysmall...

Yes, I have had this problem for quite some time now, but had not tracked it down to WorldTime 6.0.0.941. However, following up on your post, I removed WorldTime from my Startup folder, and sure enough, Help and Support and Start/Run both started to function again after the next reboot. Thanks for the clue.

Now, for my workaround...

Assuming you don´t want to abandon WorldTime (and I don´t, despite the almost invisible support tnese days), I have the following solutions:

For Help & Support, I have put a shortcut on my desktop with the following command: C:/WINDOWS/PCHealth/HelpCtr/Binaries/helpctr.exe
(I´ve reversed the slashes, as the forum software does not seem to like back-slashes!)

For Start/Run, I have added an Address Toolbar to my Taskbar, and I find I can use it in the same way as I once used Start/Run.

As I use other tools for the search function, I have not developed a workaround for it.

It would be nice to see a fix for this though, wouldn´t it.
