Alarm Manager Does Not Show Message When Sound File Used
When I select a sound file to use for an alarm in version 6.0.0.941 the text box labeled Message, at the bottom of the edit window, becomes the location to enter the full path and name for the wave file I want to use for the alarm.
When the alarm is triggered the text displayed in the box to left of the launch button is the file name and path for the sound file not the message that I had entered before I chose to use a custom sound file. I also notice that I cannot minimize the Alarm Manager application window. This means that if I have the window open and go to another program whose window covers the Alarm Manager window I cannot bring the Alarm Manager forward from the task bar but must minimize any windows covering Alarm Manager. This is not a big problem but it is an inconvienience. I have used WorldTIme for years and find it to be quite usefull even with its minor problems. |
